Unique: ask your questions to Hans Clevers on 23 November
Register now for the webinar on Tuesday 23 November from 4:30 PM to 5:15 PM on the discovery of the mini-organs and how they are (already) changing the medical field. None other than the expert in the field of mini-organs, prof. dr. Hans Clevers, and the director of the Lung Foundation Netherlands, Michael Rutgers, will tell you all about mini-organs and the search for the mini-lung.
The power of mini-organs
Hans Clevers is regarded worldwide as the expert in the field of stem cells. Stem cells are cells that occur in every organ. They ensure that organs renew and continue to work properly. Hans Clevers' research subsequently led to the groundbreaking discovery of the mini-organs, also known as organoids. Mini-organs hold promise for tissue repair. Driven by the Lung Foundation Netherlands, top-notch international researchers led by Hans Clevers are now also developing a mini-lung. And they have made tremendous progress! They can already make mini-airways, and the research is now focusing on mini-alveoli.
The search for the mini-lung
In this webinar, Hans and Michael will take you into the wonderful world of the mini-organs and the search for the mini-lung. The webinar lasts approximately 45 minutes. You can, of course, ask your questions live via the chat option (without being visible on screen). Do you already have pressing questions about mini-organs or the mini-lung? Then you can also submit this in advance via the registration form.
