Joint effort Lung Foundation Netherlands & NIH

Our LONGFONDS | Accelerate consortium on lung regeneration (BREATH) and the US National Institutes of Health are making a joint effort to advance the progress of lung regeneration. Our efforts are evident in this report from our collaborative workshop in Dallas, Texas. It was published in ATS BlueEditor in early February.

The international researchers from our consortium - and NIH's National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute - met during ATS19 in Dallas. The aim was to discuss the current status of research in lung tissue repair and collectively set priorities. By working together, we are getting closer to providing a solution for damaged lungs.
