Donation for Asthma Prevention

During the Dutch Lung Week in Ermelo (April 2019) the board of Salem Foundation presented a symbolic cheque for € 27,000 to Michael Rutgers (CEO of Lung Foundation Netherlands) and dr. Hermelijn Smits (leader of the Asthma Prevention Consortium). The Salem Foundation, dedicated to reducing the burden of asthma, was directly connected to the Pulmonary Rehabilitation Clinic in Ermelo (the Netherlands) which closed its doors in 2016. The donation is allocated especially to the promising asthma research within LONGFONDS | Accelerate.
