CNN interview with Lung Foundation director Michael Rutgers

The launch of digital platform coronalongplein.nl has drawn a lot of national and international media attention. A survey among corona patients visiting the digital platform indicates that in a group of patients full recovery is prolonged. CNN broadcast an interview with Lung Foundation director Michael Rutgers on this matter. Although it is early days, Rutgers stresses the importance of following this new group of patients and organising adequate care.

Coronalongplein.nl is a digital platform and community which provides reliable information, advice and support to corona patients and their families. It was launched early May by Lung Foundation Netherlands in cooperation with Lung Alliance Netherlands.

November update: since the launch in May more than 250.000 unique visitors have found reliable information and a community of other corona patients on coronalongplein.nl.
